♢ NPCS AND YOU
Hey guys! It has been brought to our attention that maybe we weren't very clear on this aspect, and would like to give you as much time as possible to take advantage of it before the pilgrimage occurs on May 1st*. What is "this aspect"?
NPCs. While we have certainly made it known that most Workers mooks will not give Sleepers the light of day, we want to emphasize that the main five listed on the NPC page will be your largest source of info until you are kicked out to the curb and can begin investigating within the City. This includes contacting the Caretaker over the network, which any Sleeper can find as a viable option by inquiring of any Worker. Please, please, please do not feel awkward requesting a thread with one or more of them if you would like your character to interact.
Books in the library are well and good; you can definitely glean information from them. Problem is that we can't possibly lay it all out in the worldbuilding post because we don't know specific places the characters will be looking! If you have questions or would like to know about nitty-gritty little things for Sleepers to find out, give us a nudge. Assumption is cool, too, but just know that we totally don't mind making stuff up for you and the rest of your fellow players to work off.
Keep in mind that it's easier to make a person slip up or say something unexpected than it is to locate something on-topic in a book.
* Chronologically-speaking, that is. The log will still be going up early on April 29th as we mentioned before.
